ETA - Education & Training Administration
ETA Pro functionality:

Access

Access Code

  • The access code identifies you with your instance of ETA.
  • Your Access Code is available from your organizations ETA Administrator.

User Name

  • This is the same user name used to log into ETA through your web browser.
  • User Names case sensitive.

Password

  • This is the same password used to log into ETA through your web browser.
  • Passwords sensitive.

Note: If you need to get any of the above logon details - Please contact the ETA Administrator in your organization.

Messages

Messages

Right Side Menu:
  • You can choose to show All or New Messages.
  • Click New Message to sent a new message.
  • You can filter messages by entering the sender's name in the filter.

Message List:
  • Click Read to view the full message content.
  • Click Mark Read to mark the message as read.
  • Click Del to delete the message.

Sending Messages

  • Click Menu then New Message.
  • Type the recipient's last name into the search box.
  • Select a recipient by clicking on the name.
  • Enter your message and click Send.

Note: Push Notifications must be enabled on your device. ETA Mobile PRO checks for new notifications on a 5 minute interval.

  • Shows incomplete Units.

  • Lists Units in a course stage / lesson.
  • Ability to view line items.

Currencies

Currencies List

  • List all your Currencies.
  • Expired Currencies show in RED.

Log Book

Logbook

  • List all your ETA training.
  • Filter by date range.
  • Shows times summary.
  • Shows event date.
  • Shows aircraft type.
  • Shows aircraft tail number.
  • Shows flight condition.
  • Shows type of piloting.

Note: Flight time from all ETA training is show in the Log Book.

Flight Information Files

FIF List

  • List of current FIFs.
  • Click View to view FIF.
  • Click Confirm to confirm FIF.

Note: When a new FIF is published, you will get a notification in ETA Mobile Pro.


FIF Details

FIF Confirmation

  • Enter your ETA PIN.
  • Click Confirm.

Pending Authorizations

Pending Authorizations List

  • FIFs are used to circulate important information.
  • A FIF can be a document / image e.t.c.
  • Filter by Team.
  • Defaults to Your Team.
  • Click
    +
    to view details.
  • Details of the approval request are shown.
  • Click Approve / Deny to open confirmation screen.

Note: New Pending Authorization are pushed to your device and you will get a notification in ETA Mobile Pro.


Approval

  • Enter total approved.
  • Add comment.
  • Enter your PIN.
  • Click Approve / Deny.

Note: You need to have the appropriate permissions before Authorization requests are pushed to your device.

Scheduling

Schedule Requests

Browse dates using the arrow keys.
  • To view an existing request, click the request.
  • Details of the request will be shown.
  • Request status and other warnings are shown.
  • Displays Ops Requests.

Note: Schedule Requests can be submitted for dates as far into the future as you wish.


New Schedule Request

  • Click student and time.
  • Complete request input fields.
  • View resource availability.
  • Add additional student.
  • Enter start / stop times.
  • Specify reason if outside flight block.
  • Enter PIN and submit request.

Note: ETA Mobile PRO will automatically pre-populate a new request with what it considers the best option.


New Request Validation

  • After submission, the request is validated by ETA Mobile Pro.
  • Any warnings will be displayed.
  • If any conflicts occur, you will be asked to make a change to the submission.
Settings

Version

  • This is the current ETA Mobile PRO release version.
Access Code
  • This code will be available from your organization.
  • The access code identifies you with your instance of ETA.


User Name
  • This is the same user name used to log into ETA through your web browser.
  • This is case sensitive.


Password
  • This is the same password used to log into ETA through your web browser.
  • This is case sensitive.

Note: For ETA Mobile PRO Log In details - Please contact the ETA Administrator in your orginzation.


Device Push Settings

IOS
  • Open IOS Settings.
  • Click Notifications.
  • Click on the ETA APP.
  • Switch Notifications ON.

Note: To receive Push notifications, your device must have Push notifications enabled for ETA Mobile PRO on your device.

  • Click Applications.
  • Click Application Manager.
  • Click on the ETA APP.
  • Click Show Notifications.

Push notifications may take up to 5 minutes to appear on ETA Mobile Pro

Login Alerts

Login Alerts

  • Displayed each time a user logs into ETA Mobile Pro.
  • Used to display critical information messages to the user.
  • Target students / instructors / others.

Login Alerts can be configured from ETA Definitions.

General Information

Push Notifications

  • When an activity is edited in Operations and the start time of the activity is changed then each person on the activity will receive a mobile notification.
  • Users that have 1 or more new unread messages will receive an alert.
  • When a check ride or oral check is failed then the student’s assigned IP, associated Team Managers and the recommending IP will receive a mobile notification.
  • When Team Managers have new Pending Authorization Requests waiting approval \ denial.
  • When a person is grounded then they will receive a mobile notification.
  • When a resource is downed then all users that have the person role required to down a resource will receive a mobile notification.
  • When an activity is cancelled then each person on the activity will receive a mobile notification.
  • When a check ride is scheduled then the student scheduled on the check ride will receive a mobile notification.
  • When a student is removed from an activity via Operations Edit, then the student will receive a mobile notification.
  • When a student receives a No Show or Unprepared at Operations – Ops Check In (OC) or the student is marked as Absent on an Academic, then the student will receive a mobile notification of the occurrence.
  • When a request is denied, then the user that submitted the request will receive a mobile notification.
  • When the schedule is posted, a mobile notification is sent to all active users.
